Kayla has always known she wanted to work with animals. Kayla graduated from Northridge High School in Johnstown in 2011 and is a recent graduate of Columbus State Community College’s Veterinary Technician program. Kayla worked part time at Johnstown Animal Hospital starting off in the kennel helping take care of the animals that were boarding until she graduated high school, which is when she started working as veterinary assistant to Dr. Terrant. Although she enjoys working with small animals her goal is to one day become a large animal technician and work with farm animals. When not at work Kayla enjoys spending time with her family and friends camping, fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors. She has two dogs Kalea, a Chihuahua/yorkie mix and Amber a Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever mix.
